Graduate scholarship payments for Winter 2018

Attention Graduate Scholarship Recipients:

Scholarship payments are made automatically to students’ accounts at the beginning of each semester, once they are registered for that semester.  For Winter 2018, payments are scheduled to be credited to students' accounts beginning on December 2, 2017. 

Effective Winter term 2018, there will be a new process for issuing refunds for scholarships:  

  • Scholarship refunds have previously been available by cheque from the Graduate Studies Office at the beginning of each semester.  Effective Winter 2018, the University is introducing e-mail money transfers to issue refunds to students.
  • If you are entitled to a refund you will receive an e-mail money transfer to your University of Windsor e-mail account.  You will have the option to deposit the payment into the Canadian bank account of your choice. The refund must be deposited to your bank account within 14 days.
  • Refunds for Winter scholarships will be available beginning January 5, 2018 to students who have registered for Winter by December 21, 2017.

A reminder that graduate scholarship recipients who do not register by the posted late registration deadline for each semester will forfeit their scholarship for that semester.  For Winter 2018, the late registration deadline is January 17, 2018.
