Luncheon to honour local young scholars

Two UWindsor students are among three scholarship recipients who will be honoured at a luncheon Friday, November 3, by the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce.

We are pleased to announce the 2018-19 competition for the Autism Scholars Award for graduate students undertaking research in child autism.

With the support of the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development (MAESD),  an Autism Scholars Award has been established to ensure that Ontario attracts and retains pre-eminent scholars in this field.

We are pleased to announce the 2018-19 competition for the Ontario Women's Health Scholars Awards for graduate students involved in research in women’s health and its translation into improved health for women, more effective health services and products for women, and a strengthened health care system.

> Save the Date: Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition in March 2018

We are very excited to announce that the Faculty of Graduate Studies will once again be holding the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition for graduate students in Spring 2018. 

Save the date:

  • The competition will take place on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Ambassador Auditorium.
  • The winner will go on to represent the University of Windsor at the provincial final to  be held at York University on Thursday, April 19, 2018.

Further details will be announced in January.

Group to begin treatment for symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

The “Living Fully” group treatment program for adults with symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) will begin meeting Monday, October 23.

Led by doctoral students under the supervision of clinical psychologist Annette Dufresne in the Psychological Services and Research Centre, the service is free and open to individuals from the campus or local communities.
