DESCRIPTION:  The GSS soccer is back due to popular demand\, this event is open to  \n faculty\, staff and graduate students. Fill out the form below and please  \n e-mail it to Tareq (vpagss@uwindsor.ca) by Friday\, June  \n 17th at 3pm.  Those who cannot gather a team together should still fill  \n out this same form and we will assign you to a team.First place team will be  \n awarded with the GSS Soccer trophy. The GSS is also looking for volunteers to  \n help out with the event (BBQ\, referies\, organizers ...) anyone intrested  \n please e-mail you name and phone number toTapas (vpxgss@uwindsor.ca).  \n Volunteers will recive a award cirtificate.   Date: June 25th\, 2011  \n Location: Grass soccer fields behind the St. Denis Centre Time: 10 am-2  \n pm\, free BBQ to follow  Rules: Minimum of six (including captain) with max  \n of two substitutes. Minimum of one female player on the field at all  \n times. Players can not be in more than one team. Two ten-minute halves will  \n be played\, with a five minute half-time break. Absolutely no slide tackles.  \n No physical contact. No profanity. This will result in an immediate ejection.  \n Cool down Rule: If the referee feels that players are getting too aggressive  \n and tempers are beginning to flair then he has the authority to request the  \n players to leave the field. They may be substituted by another player but may  \n not return until the referee feels they have recomposed themselves. Failure  \n to obey this rule will result in immediate suspension. DESCRIPTION:If you have been keeping tabs\, you will already know that we have one more  \n ERCS presentation coming up.  Please consider joining us on Tuesday\, March  \n 27 from 5:00 - 6:30 for Dr. Rita Irwin's talk on Becoming A/r/tography\, to be  \n held in room 2222 of the Education Building. Here is the abstract for the  \n presentation: The presentation will explore moments of becoming a/r/tography.  \n A/r/tography is a research methodology\, a creative practice and a  \n performative pedagogy that lives in the rhizomatic practices of the  \n in-between. Rather than residing in an endless critique of past experience  \n and bodies of knowledge\, a/r/tography is concerned with the creative  \n invention of concepts and mapping the intensities experienced in relational\,  \n rhizomatic yet singular encounters. Considering a recent initiative in a  \n teacher education program\, this paper explores what it means to be becoming  \n a/r/tography. Rather than asking what an art work or an art education  \n practice means\, the question becomes what does this art education practice  \n set in motion do? There can be no being a/r/tography without the processes of  \n becoming a/r/tography. Please consider coming to this presentation; it is the  \n last one of this year's ERCS. And\, encourage or otherwise bring your  \n colleagues and friends to this talk!
