About Kinesiology

The Faculty of Human Kinetics was established in 1974 after having been established as the faculty of Health and Physical Education in 1968. Currently the Faculty houses the Department of Kinesiology which offers academic honours degrees in three majors related to the study of human movement and sport management. In addition, the Faculty is the home for the University's Athletes and Recreational Services which administers 11 varsity sports.
