Bio:
Dr. Dixon joined the Department of Kinesiology in 2006 in the area of Sport Management. He teaches classes in sport management, sport finance, human resource management, and strategic management. Dr. Dixon’s primary research and scholarly interests are in the area of strategic management in sport. His secondary interests include executive leadership and human resource management, sport finance and economics, and sport management pedagogy. Dr. Dixon is a member of the North American Society for Sport Management (NASSM) and is a regular contributor at its annual conference. Outside of the office, Dr. Dixon is an avid golfer and recreational baseball and hockey player.
