Transfering to Kinesiology

Transferring to Kinesiology
Personal Profile Form (Transfer)

Any student wishing to transfer into Kinesiology from:

  1. another faculty at the University of Windsor,
  2. another university,
  3. a non-university institute of post-secondary education, must   complete the personal profile form.

In addition, each application must be accompanied by the University of
Windsor Returning Student Application For Undergraduate Studies Form, and:

  1.  For those students transferring from other faculties at the University of Windsor, a record of University of Windsor and Grade 12 grades. Normally, only students with cumulative university averages of at least 8.0 on a minimum of five courses will be considered.
  2.  For those students transferring from other post-secondary institutions, a record of post-secondary and secondary school grades. Normally, only students with cumulative post-secondary averages that are at least the equivalent of 8.0 on the University of Windsor’s 13 point scale will be considered.

References are not required, should not be submitted, and will not be used in the evaluation process. Applications are evaluated once each year following the completion of the Winter semester. They are due at the Registrar’s Office at the University of Windsor on or before May 15 for admission to the next Fall semester. All applications will be evaluated by a special committee in Kinesiology at that time and decisions will be forwarded to the Registrar by June 30.

The number of available spaces in the undergraduate programme for transfer student applicants is limited and the decision of the committee is final. No appeals are possible, but subsequent applications will be evaluated without prejudice.
