DONALD L. MILLER is the New York Times bestselling author of nine books, the John Henry MacCracken Professor of History at Lafayette College and one of the most respected authorities on World War II and US History. His books have been nominated for, and won, a variety of awards and he is a frequent consultant and adviser on historical productions. HBO is currently developing a miniseries based upon Donald’s bestselling Masters of the Air: America’s Bomber Boys Who Fought the Air War Against Nazi Germany Air, produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. Miller previously worked with Spielberg and Hanks as a historical consultant for the ten-part HBO series The Pacific.
 
BARRY STEVENS is a Toronto documentary filmmaker and screenwriter. An Emmy nominee, his films include Prosecutor about the trials of the International Criminal Court, The Bomber’s Dream, about history of bombing civilians, and Sector Sarajevo about the war in Bosnia. For four years, he directed 30 films in the award-winning series War Story for History TV, edited by University of Windsor’s Nick Hector. He is currently finishing a film about modern slavery in the textile business in India.
 
 
ROBERT BURGOYNE is a writer and lecturer whose work centers on the theory and representation of history in film.  The author of five books and numerous essays, his work has been translated into seven languages.  He has lectured in thirteen countries.  Robert was formerly Chair in Film Studies at The University of St Andrews, and Professor of English and Film Studies at Wayne State University.  He is currently working on a book length project on post 9/11 American war films, provisionally entitled The Body at Risk: War Cinema in the 21st Century
