Faculty members at the University of Windsor have much to offer students with an interest in global studies, with many of them educated abroad (31% in the USA and 46% in Europe/Asia).
We offer many academic programs with an international focus on our campus in Windsor, Ontario. Some examples include Cross Border Policy Studies, Diaspora Studies, International Accounting & Finance, International Relations and Development Studies, and North American Studies.
We also offer academic programs in collaboration with international partner institutions. Some examples include our Honours BCS in Applied Computing which is offered in Cairo, Egypt in collaboration with Canadian International College, and our Canadian and American Dual JD in Law and the BFA in Visual Arts and the Built Environment and BS in Architecture offered in cooperation with the University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, Michigan in the USA.
The University also offers a wide array of other academic-related international opportunities that complement our academic programs.
Two programs that send the educators of the future abroad on international missions ultimately make them greater teachers, far better suited for instructing in the diverse, multicultural classrooms of Canada. Watch the video.
