Student Visa Requirements

Under no circumstance should a student come to Canada without satisfying Student Visa Requirements

When you have received your official letter of acceptance to the University of Windsor, contact the nearest Canadian visa office (embassy, high commission or consulate) to go about satisfying Student Visa Requirements. 

The Study Permit is what allows you to study in Canada.

NEW! Citizens of a number of visa-exempt countries who meet very specific criteria, can now apply for their initial study permit online. This is the list of countries currently eligible Australia, Barbados, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, United States of America, including Puerto Rico.

The Temporary Resident Visa TRV is what allows you to enter 

This process will differ among visa offices abroad and may take up to six months to complete.

Get ready for classes

You must login into the University of Windsor student's portal called myUWindsor.

myUWindsor is your pathway to search and register for courses, apply to live in residence, change your address and access many other campus services.

To startup your myUWindsor Account you will need your Student Number and PAC(personal access code) and click submit.

Paying your fees

To pay tuition and Residence's fees, international students must use the StudentPay option.
