Soft Landing Program

The Soft Landing Program is available for NEW international students arriving to start classes for the FALL and WINTER semesters. Complete the Soft Landing Arrival Form as soon as you have made your flight arrangements.

Please note the following:
  • The first day of classes for SUMMER 2013 is May 6th
  • The ELIP placement test is May 2nd
 
Students are able to stay for free at a hotel during their first night in Canada, and pay reduced rates for the remainder of their stay, until they can move into University residences or find off-campus accommodation.  Some conditions apply, see below for more details

CONDITIONS:

  • All the above rates are based on double-occupancy. Any student not wishing to share a room will be responsible for the full rate without any subsidy.
  • These arrangements are only for new international students and the rates do not apply to parents, friends, or others who are not new students.

2. Residence Move-in

For NEW Students:  

Completing the SoftLanding Arrival Form is best way to notify the Residence Office of your arrival information.You can complete the Arrival Form by clicking "HERE"
