When I Arrive

The Soft Landing Program is available for NEW international students arriving to the University of Windsor, please complete the Soft Landing Arrival Form as soon as you have made your flight arrangements. We will pay for the first night accommodation in Windsor if you cannot get into your permanent residence right away.

 

Please visit the International Student Centre and the International Student Advisor's office as soon as possible after you arrive in Windsor. There will be student assistants waiting to welcome you and provide a welcome package and help you with many of the questions you may have.

• International Student Orientation

During three days new students will receive valuable information to help them succeed in their new program. University's administration, faculty and volunteer students provide a warm welcome with information, prizes, games and the best chance to make new friends.

• Your health matters:

The University’s Green Shield Health Insurance Plan (GSHIP) is mandatory for all undergraduate and graduate international students here on a Study Permit. You must pick up your card at the ISC.

Check the International Student Centre's Website for upcoming events, "like" our Facebook page, and

make sure you are on the WISEL list….

Many upcoming events on and off campus, volunteer opportunities and helpful information for International Students are posted to this list. If you are not on this list come to the International Student Centre (2nd floor Laurier Hall) for information on how to sign up, or follow the instructions here. You can unsubscribe your current email address and subscribe a different one, or change the settings of your subscription.
