Selection Process

Participants in the IT Leader program will be selected by their department head. Departments may elect to use personnel who are currently providing IT support in their area. Participants selected must show a willingness to learn and have some degree of computer literacy.
 
It is strongly recommended that an IT Leader be a permanent continuing staff member owing to the time commitment and more consistent availability.
 
It should be noted that the IT Leader Program is voluntary. Any department not participating in the IT Leader Program may use the services of the IT Services HelpDesk.
