Having Lotus Notes account at the University is synonymous with having an e-mail account on the faculty & staff e-mail servers. You do not have to have Lotus Notes software installed to access your mailbox and use e-mail services, although using Notes for this is a preferred option that also provides you with many benefits and advantages over the other options described below.
