 at University of Windsor offers the following benefits: 

•  A Secure place data storage – With a Novell ID, client PCs will have a secure drive space to save their data. Saving it on the Novell networks means that it is in a location that gets backed up on a nightly basis and can only be accessed by individuals with the associated password of your account (so keep it safe)
• Access to your data from work, the office, anywhere – placing your files on the Novell network allows you to access your files from the office, or at home. Off campus access is available through newly offered web based services - NetStorage and NetDrive.
• Virus Protection – all files saved on Novell are being scanned with real time antivirus scanners.
• Shared Resources – Allows departments to share their resources - files, application printing and via deparmental Novell LANs.
