What is NetStorage?

Novell® NetStorage.

NetStorage is a web-based service that allows remote, mobile and wireless users secure SSL based access to their files saved on Novell servers using a web compliant browser.
 
NetStorage is also OS platform independent and has been tested with Windows XP, Apple OS 10 and SuSe Linux 10. Supported browsers for Windows XP are IE 5.0 or later, Firefox 1.0.7 or later; for SuSe Linux 10.1 Konqueror 3.5 or later; and for Mac OS 10, Safari 2.0.3 or later.
 
In the past, remote, mobile or wireless users needed to use the Novell client with VPN or FTP through the firewall to access their Novell files. Now, using Novell NetStorage, these files can be accessed through the Web at
