Warranty Support of Preferred Vendor PCs
- IT Services acts as the main contact for clients with warranty questions for the University's Preferred Vendor for departments without technicians. Departments that have their own approved technicians may call CCD for their own support.
- If you are having a problem with your PC - contact the HelpDesk. We will:
- Verify that it is a hardware problem
- Contact CCD and coordinate with the PC user a convenient time for CCD to handle the issue.
- Follow up to insure that the problem is solved to the client’s satisfaction.
- If your machine is no longer under warranty, IT Services will assist in the repair of your equipment. If hardware repairs are needed, parts and service will be charged for at the appropriate IT Services rate.
Warranty Support for non-Preferred PC Vendors
- Warranty Support for non-Prefered Vendor PCs can be handled by IT Services. If hardware repairs are needed, parts and service will be charged for at the appropriate IT Services rate.
