The Research in Motion (RIM) Blackberry is the leading wireless solution for connecting mobile academics to their e-mail, calendaring, address book, to-dos and the internet. At the University of Windsor, the Blackberry has been integrated with IBM Lotus Notes to provide a seamless environment with your e-mail, calendar, contacts, to-do list, and notebook (MemoPad).

The University also offers Apple iPhone, Android, and other smartphone support of Lotus Notes through Lotus Traveller, and the connection of WiFi capable devices, including the Blackberry Playbook and Apple iPad to UWin Wireless.

Access to preferred carrier rate plans (Telus) are provisioned in cooperation with the Centre for Smart Community Innovation (CSCI) and a number of participants in the Windsor and Essex Smart Community.
