IT Services will be performing maintenance on the wireless network controllers Thursday July 19 from 6:30-8:30am. This work will affect the login page on the uwindsor wireless network and users will be unable to authenticate for approximately 5 minutes while the web server is restarted.
If there are problems with the wireless networks after 8:00am, please contact the IT ServiceDesk at ext. 4440.

IT Services will be performing network maintenance Friday July 13 from 6:00-6:30am. This activity is not expected to cause a service outage.
If there is a problem, there could be a short 2-3 minute outage while the configuration is reverted. This would affect many campus services such as Blackboard, campus websites and the myUWindsor portal.

The University is currently experiencing delays with delivery of new email. Emails from the Internet or UWinGmail may be delivered an hour or more after they were originally sent. IT Services are investigating the issue and we are reaching out to our vendor partner for troubleshooting.
Update Jul 10 8:00am: Queued messages were delivered overnight. This may be a volume-related problem that will re-occur during times of higher message volume. IT Services will continue to monitor and troubleshoot the performance of the system throughout the day.

On Wednesday July 4th 2018: IT Services will be updating blackboard to use our standard single sign on page. This is the page that you see when logging into UWinGMail or UWinSite Finance.
This change will resolve issues where Blackboard suddenly says your password is incorrect.
There should not be any outage for this change but you will see the login page change.

Please be advised we have received recent reports of a new phishing email. This phishing scam requested the recipient to purchase a number of itunes gift cards, scratch the back, and take a picture / send back to the 'from' email address. This email appeared to come from a familiar University name, but had a different email address.
Please ensure you inspect the 'from' email address details. This phishing email appeared to come from a familiar contact name but the underlying email address did not contain '@uwindsor.ca'.
