If you are living in residence and you want to seek an alternative to wireless, you will need to find an external company that provdes Internet service in your area. University of Windsor student residences have Dial-up internet access, but unfortunately the DSL infrastructure is not available. To have access to an external Internet connection, you must contact the supplier of the service you wish to use, and they will send a technician to assist you.
Cogeco is the High-Speed cable internet provider on campus and they offer service to University of Windsor residence halls with specials for students. For more information on this service regarding students living on campus, please contact Residence Services.
IT Services does not offer connectivity support for external connections, as they do not run through our Local Area Network.
