UWin Gmail System - UPDATE: July 5, 2019

A recent issue with the University’s UWin Gmail System has resulted in any email messages over 1000 days old to be removed from user accounts.  The recovery process available through the UWin Gmail System has allowed IT Services to implement a restore all of these email messages, regardless of location within a user account (i.e. inbox, folders).  We expect the process to be complete by July 5, 2019.  Please note that as a result of this restoration process, previously deleted email messages may return to user accounts.

Please note that storage of any files (Google Drive) should not have been impacted by this issue.

We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused and if you have any questions or issues with your user account outside of deleted messages re-appearing, please contact the IT Services Desk at uwindsor.ca/itshelp.
