Each year two undergraduates and two graduated students receive awards for excellence in research.

2011 Winners

Awards for best research projects at Kinesiology Research Day were presented to:

  • Undergraduate Sheri Ford for her study called Low back pain: Traction, modalities, and the inversion table 
  • Undergraduate Robyn Bertram for her study called Quantifying the total lower extremity impact exposure of varsity athletes: A feasibility study using pedometers 
  • Graduate Lindsay Walsh for her study called How coaching certification influences coaches' encouragement of imagery use with athletes 
  • Graduate Suzanne Morand for her study called Revitalizing the visual identity: A case of brand management for St. Lawrence College athletes
