Varsity Sports Camps

Varsity Sports Camps Mission Statement

Our varsity sport camps provide the opportunity for camper's to learn the fundamentals of their sport as well as improve on their skills in the specific sport. Our energetic and dedicated staff with extensive experience in the sports aim to also help in the development campers new skills to enhance their position in the sport. 


Baseball and Fast Pitch Camps

This camp invites all baseball and fast pitch players ages 7 to 10 (fundamental) and 11 to 14 (elite) to enhance their skills. Windsor Lancer Head Coach Frank Jeney will lead the instruction of both camps, along with current Lancer Baseball and Fast Pitch Student-Athletes. The rookie camp will focus on basic mechanisms such as base running, fielding, and hitting to players. Whereas, the elite players will continue on enhanced versions of these mechanisms, while also learning physical aptitudes/development and overall baseball knowledge.


Basketball Camps

Lancer Basketball camps are offered in a variety of sessions to accommodate various skill levels and focus areas. Each basketball camp is divided by age and skill set to include appropriate instruction, skills competitions, and much more. All campers will receive a Lancer Basketball, T-shirt, and regular season pass at the end of the week. 


Football Camp

Camp Info: TBA

Come and enjoy learning football fundamentals in a fun, active, and safe non-contact environment! Blocking and tackling techniques (on bags) will be taught, along with handling, protecting, catching, and passing the football by current Lancer Players & Coaches. Campers will also have the opportunity for supervised use of the Windsor athletic facilities, and will play in organized touch football games at the end of each day.


Hockey Camps

Located at the Central Park Athletic Center, this camp will focus on the development of fundamental skills for all specific hockey positions. A High Skills Goalie Program subsection will be included for all campers interested in sharpening goaltender skills and movements. Campers will receive a total of 3 hours of on-ice session’s daily, as well as, off-ice team based activities and instructional lessons. Campers will receive a practice jersey and a regular season pass at the end of the week.  All camp sessions are 5-day camp weeks including Civic holiday.


Soccer Camps

The Lancer Soccer Camps are led by Varsity Women's Head Coach Steve Hart and current Student-Athletes. The two fundamental camps will focus on basic soccer skills: such as passing, receiving, ball control, and positioning. The elite camp will include advanced technique and strategy through tactical awareness. The specifics of goalkeeping will also be taught for those interested in this specific position.


Speed and Agility Camp

This camp will include instruction on running mechanics for acceleration and top end speed, proper & appropriate warm up aiding in flexibility, balance & coordination, core stability, plyometric, and agility drills.


Track and Field Camps

Campers will learn the basic fundamental skills in sprints, hurdles, middle distance, long jump, triple jump and shot put with the aid of Lancer Track and Field athletes. 


Volleyball Camps

Camp Info: TBA

The Lancer Volleyball Camps are led by Varsity Women's Head Coach Lucas Hodgson and are offered at two seperate levels. Campers are divided by gender, age, and skill set upon arrival. Each camper receives a t-shirt along with five days of volleyball instruction from qualified volleyball instructors. On the final day of camp there will be a skills competition with prizes and some modified games for the campers to see how their skills have developed during the week.
