Vance Lockton – Strategic Policy and Research Analyst, Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada
Vance Lockton is a Strategic Analyst and Principal Advisor with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. He currently splits his time between the OPC’s Policy and Research Group, and the newly-formed Business Advisory Directorate, based in the OPC’s Toronto regional office.
He has Masters degrees in Computer Science (University of British Columbia) and Public Policy (Simon Fraser University) and holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Canada (CIPP/C) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) designations from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
