Welcome!

Brian MillerBrian Miller

Brian Miller comes to Windsor Law as Director of the Canadian & American Dual JD Program in partnership with the University of Detroit Mercy.

Brian (and please call him Brian - he forgets to look up if you address him as Mr. or Director Miller), received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, his law degree from the Detroit College of Law (now Michigan State University College of Law) and his masters in education from Seattle University. A native Michigander with family scattered throughout Canada, Brian practiced law in Metro Detroit for 14 years before transitioning into education administration.

Among his professional experiences, Brian has served as transfer admissions coordinator at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington and as assistant director of law admissions at Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon. He reports that he learned of this position (director of the dual JD program) more than a year ago and knew he wanted the job more than any other he's had. He says that the opportunity to be a part of students' admission, education and professional employment in the law motivates him to be their reference, resource, mentor and advocate.

Brian is a huge supporter of the Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and Detroit Pistons and plans to add the Windsor Lancers to this list. Most of all, Brian is a Detroit Red Wings fan but he hopes that won't dissuade prospective students from the GTA from seeking admission to the dual degree program. He welcomes all regardless of their sports loyalties.

Welcome Brian.
