Professor Julie Macfarlane is in Australia this month, teaching as a Visiting Professor at the University of New South Wales law school in Sydney. Julie is teaching a graduate dispute resolution course called “Concepts & Controversies in Dispute Resolution” which integrates her research on changing models of legal services, access to justice and dispute resolution, and informal cultural and religious approaches to dispute resolution. 

Julie is also the keynote speaker for The Resolution Institute (an Australia-wide professional association for mediators and arbitrators) in their annual “Road Show” conference, speaking at four cities across Australia (Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Hobart) on her research on self-represented litigants and the ongoing work of Windsor Law’s National Self-Represented Litigants Project (www.representingyourselfcanada.com).
