Clementa Stan, new International IP Clinic CoordinatorClementa Stan, new International IP Clinic Coordinator

Clementa joined the Faculty of Law on August 8, 2016 as the Program Coordinator for the International Intellectual Property Law Clinic. She holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree as well as a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor.  Upon graduation, Clementa started her career as a human resources coordinator for a financial institution.  She then decided to join the Odette School of Business as an academic advisor, focusing on undergraduate student retention.  In this role, she spearheaded a number of initiatives including a successful peer mentoring program.  In her most recent position, she was an integral member of the International Development team at the University of Windsor.  In this role, she managed the finances for the business unit in addition to overseeing a number of internationalization initiatives and assisting with international student recruitment activities. 

Clinic Director Wissam Aoun is thrilled Clementa has taken on the position. "We are absolutely delighted to have Clementa come on board as the Program Co-ordinator for the International IP Clinic.  Clementa's experience with program development, and specifically international program development, is phenomenal.  Over the last year, we have been slowly putting the pieces in place to begin to expand and grow this program.  By leveraging Clementa's experience and enthusiasm we will be in a position to establish the International IP Clinic as one of the foremost intellectual property training programs in the world."
