The Windsor Law team competed in the Canadian National Round of the Jessup International Law Moot February 21st to 23rd in Vancouver, B.C. All team members worked diligently over first term to research the 2019 Jessup problem and draft two memorials. They did very well in the oral rounds at the competition and enjoyed meeting law students from 14 other schools across the country. Team members were Miruna Birsan (Law 3, JD/MSW), Kayley Leon (Law 2, Dual JD), Erin O’Rourke (Law 3, JD) and James Rice (Law 3, JD). Special congratulations to James and Erin for winning the 3rd Place Best Respondent Memorial award.

Team members are grateful to all students, faculty and practitioners who volunteered to judge practice rounds to help them prepare.
