Canadian Students

Admitted students who are Canadian citizens will need to secure an F-1 Student Visa (also known as an I-20) to attend classes at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Our immigration firm will work with each student, at no additional cost, to secure your visa. Students will need to complete the Financial Support Form and I-20 Application found below.

Please visit U.S. Immigration and Customs website for information and fees.

*Please note, you must attach original, signed, and dated financial documents to the Statement of Financial Support showing the availability of funds equal to the amount of the U.S. tuition for the first year. The attachments do not have to be the funds actually used to pay your tuition.

Admitted students who are U.S. citizens will be required to obtain a Canadian Study Permit to attend classes at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. Our immigration firm will contact the students in July and will work with each student, at no additional cost, to secure the study permit.
