Preparing Course Materials
A required course textbook is preferred.
Additionally, Law Faculty may link to content from the free online sources mentioned in these help guides:
- official and unofficial sources for federal and Ontario legislation online
- case law and tribunal decisions online
- sources for online law journals
This document describes acceptable uses for copies of materials from CanLII.
Additionally, Law Faculty may post links from Hein Online and some other products to which the Law Library subscribes.
Law Faculty may also wish to direct students to an e-book to which the Law Library has subscribed.
Also, the Law Library continues to offer course reserves services. Our staff receive your syllabus when it is received by the General Office, and we routinely ensure that all books and journal articles used in your course are placed on Reserves, which ensures that the material is made more readily available for all users.
