The Donald G. Bowman National Tax Moot is named after the Honourable Donald G. Bowman, former Chief Justice of the Tax Court of Canada. The Moot was founded by Professor Emir Aly Crowne-Mohammed and Professor John Weir, both of the University of Windsor. The Moot is an appellate level moot that focuses on the area of taxation and will give law students a chance to take part in a simulated tax court proceeding. It is held annually at the Tax Court facilities at 130 Queen Street West in Toronto.
