Bahdi on Information Derived From Torture

Professor Reem Bahdi comments on a letter written in 2008 by former CSIS Director Jim Judd that exposes the extent to which Canada's national security agency is reliant on information obtained from torture.  The letter, recently obtained by The Montreal Gazette, indicates that the case against several Arab Muslim men held under the security certificate regime would fall apart if courts prohibited the use of information derived from torture as evidence.
