Law Recipients of Teaching Excellence Awards for 2011

A number of individuals were recognized for their significant contributions to teaching and learning at the sixth Annual University of Windsor Celebration of Teaching Excellence held on November 14, 2011. 

Professors Gemma Smyth and David Tanovich were recognized as this year's recipients of SLS Faculty Awards awarded to professors who best exemplify the attributes of an exceptional teacher.  Ms Marcella Aroca was recognized as this year's recipient of the Honourable Justice Robert Abbey Award for Outstanding Special Lecturer presented by the SLS to the sessional instructor who best exemplifies the attributes of an exceptional teacher.

Finally, Acting Dean Myra Tawfik and Dr. Francine Schlosser of the Odette School of Business were recognized for having been awarded the Innovative Entrepreneurial Education Course Award from the Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
