Tawfik to be honoured for Business of Innovation initiative

Professor Myra Tawfik will be honoured at the University of Windsor Celebration of Excellence for Scholarship, Research and Creative Activity on Monday February 6, 2012.  She will share the honour with Dr. Francine Schlosser (Odette School of Business) as co-recipients of an Ontario Centres of Excellence Experiential Program Grant.

The grant, in the amount of $450,000 over two years, was awarded in support of their "Business of Innovation" initiative designed to foster research and program development relating to intellectual property commercialization and entrepreneurship.
