Distinguished Annual Access to Justice Lecture featuring Anil Kapoor

Join Windsor Law, in association with the Windsor Yearbook of Access to Justice, as we welcome a distinguished legal champion of access to justice, Anil Kapoor, who will address current law students, campus and community during his talk "Justice Denied: The Need for an Independent Bar." 

Anil Kapoor is a professor and practicing criminal law attorney who regularly appears before the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as Courts of Appeal in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. He was appointed to the Commission Counsel to the Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182, Minister of Justice (Canada), the Prime Minister’s Advisory Council on National Security, and the Board of Directors of the Advocates Society.

A short reception will directly follow the lecture at 6:30 pm.
