The Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues invites you to submit original, scholarly work to be considered for its forthcoming issue. Currently, we are accepting papers submitted by academics, practitioners, articling students and current law students on any legal topic of your choice.
Entirely student-operated and peer-reviewed, the WRLSI is published twice a year and endeavours to be an inter-disciplinary resource for professionals, students and academics. The Review publishes papers from legal and related fields that explore law in its social context and the impact social issues have on the law.
Submissions which advance meaningful scholarship will be evaluated on a rolling basis. A two-step peer review process is conducted by the Editorial Board and external academic referees. Your document is considered anonymously; no weight is given to one’s prior publication, previous submissions or institutional affiliation. Only papers which pass an internal evaluation by the Editorial Board will proceed to external review. The Editorial Board reserves the right to make editorial changes to all contributions as necessary before publication to ensure correctness of spelling, grammar and conformity to style.
Papers should not exceed 20,000 words including footnotes. Footnotes should conform to the Canadian Guide to Uniform Legal Citation (McGill Guide, 7th edition). Please send two copies, one hard copy and one electronic version (Microsoft Word format), of your typed, double-spaced manuscript for consideration in care of the Solicitations Editor:
