Windsor Mediation Services provides mediation, group facilitation, conflict coaching and conflict resolution training for Windsor-Essex community members as well as for University of Windsor staff and students.
Our mediators include the Director of Mediation Services, who is a professional mediator, and upper-year law and social work students. Our mediators will not offer legal advice or comment on the merits of a party’s position. Instead, we focus on helping parties have a constructive, practical discussion about the issues in dispute.
The day-to-day operations are handled by the Director, professional staff, law and social work student interns.

Mediation Services: there is no fee for mediation services for Windsor-Essex community members. However, fees may apply for workplace or commercial mediations.
Training Services: we provide conflict resolution training at a nominal charge for student groups and not-for-profit community organizations. However, fees generally apply for workplace training.
Our staff assess whether your situation is appropriate for mediation or other dispute resolution services such as conflict coaching. If not, we can facilitate a referral to another community organization for assistance. All parties must voluntarily consent to proceed with mediation.
