Mentorship Program

The purpose of this progarm is to provide longitudinal mentoring and support for Family Medicine Residents. The functions of the Faculty Advisor as described in the accreditation standards are to:

Orient you to the discipline of Family Medicine
Discuss your own learning objectives and design an appropriate educational plan
Review this plan regularly and assist you with finding the resources within the program necessary to meet your unique learning needs
Help you to understand the four principles of Family Medicine
Help you to reflect on program choices
Help you to understand evaluation feedback
Help you set and revise learning objectives
Help you to define career plans
