The Music Therapy Programme of the University of Windsor is approved in Canada by the Canadian Association for Music Therapy (CAMT) and in the U.S. by the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA)
 

Music Therapist Accreditation - CAMT 

Upon sucessful completion of the Honours Bachelor of Music Therapy (with internship) program at the University of Windsor, students are eligible to apply for accreditation with the Canadian Association for Music Therapy (CAMT). This accreditation (MTA) is important for those wishing to practice music therapy in Canada. Those wishing accreditation must submit an application packet documenting academic and clinical credentials to the CAMT. Music Therapist Certification - CBMT

Upon successful completion ot the Honours Bachelor of Music Therapy (with Internship) program at the University of Windsor, students are also eligible to take the certification exam with the Certification Board for Music Therapists. This exam may be taken at a number of sites in the U.S. and in Canada, including the University of Windsor exam site.
