It is important that students review and become familiar with the attached document which outlines policies and procedures to ensure Music Therapy students' behaviours are consistent with the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the Canadian Association for Music Therapy (CAMT) and of the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA). This document is intended to provide guidelines that will enhance the School's ability to assist students in meeting current standards of professional music therapy practice. It is also designed to provide the necessary safeguards for the fragile populations with which Music Therapy students work.
Students are expected to be familiar with and to adhere to this policy both in school and in the field practicum.
