The first five years

Percussionist and UWindsor alumnus Greg Samek discusses ideas on career paths, goal orientation and life as a musician after university.

Greg Samek received a Bachelor of Music Education degree in 2006 from the University of Windsor and Master of Music in Percussion Performance degree in 2008 from the University of Toronto.
He is an alumnus of the Detroit Civic Orchestra, the Band of the Ceremonial Guard and the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. He has performed with Toca Loca, Esprit Orchestra, Charles Wuorinen, Beverly Johnston, Liam Teague, NEXUS, the PAS International Convention, Evelyn Glennie and during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Closing Ceremony. Greg is currently a member of Scrap Arts Music.
