Congratulations and thank you for offering to be part of the University's largest cultural event. The event is a celebration of diversity and offers an opportunity to promote awareness of different cultures.
Display Tables

Space is limited

Every attempt will be made to provide you with the amount of space your display will require

Tables are 8 feet long and some groups will share a table

Please provide your own tablecloth
Set Up/Take Down

Please have your display set up by 10:30am

Please do not take down your display until 3:00pm

Displays must be staffed at all times
PowerPoint Presentations

No outlets will be provided for tables
-
Rather, PowerPoint presentations will be collated to play throughout the day on a scheduled rotation on one screen in Commons Area

If you want to display a presentation, you must submit your PowerPoint slides to nations@uwindsor.ca no later than February 21, 2012, to allow time for collating

Presentation must not be more than 5 minutes in length

The Celebration of Nations Committee reserves the right to edit your presentation for inappropriate content and length

Sound will not be provided
Best Display Prize
Displays will be judged on the following criteria:

Hospitality - Were students staffing the display courteous? Did they invite others to their display? Did they answer questions?

Cultural Sharing - Did you learn about the culture of this display? Examples: posters, books, traditional clothing, etc

Creativity - Was the display original, eye-catching, etc?

Interactive - Did the display include audience participation such as games, food, demonstrationis, etc?
All participants will be awarded a Participation Certificate
