2012 ONTARIO SKILLS DEVELOPMENT SYMPOSIUM
FRI. JUNE 15 – SUN. JUNE 17, 2012 UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO MISSISSAUGA CAMPUS
Each year, the Canadian Federation of Students-Ontario hosts the Ontario Skills Development Symposium. The Symposium brings students together to share and acquire the skills that are essential to achieving their goals and running strong and effective students' unions on behalf of their membership.
While undertaking their work in their students' unions, elected student representatives, staff and volunteers develop unique skills based on their experiences. Filled with informative workshops, networking opportunities and social events, the annual Symposium brings together hundreds of students from across the province.
As a local member of CFS (Local 106), OPUS is inviting YOU, the student membership (part-time undergraduates) to attend and participate in this important workshop opportunity. We are encouraged to send as many participants as possible up to a maximum of approx. 10-15 people. If you are interested in attending, please R.S.V.P. by Wed. May 30, 2012 to the OPUS Staff via phone or email: (519) 971-3603 or opus@uwindsor.ca. Please ensure to act fast as space is limited.
