Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Main responsibility is to the general operation of the OPUS office and OPUS staff members.

Represent the Board members in their absence at committee or Senate functions.

Market, advertise and promote OPUS. Support planning and promotion in conjunction with other organizations for part time student activities. Aid the Board in hosting social functions and following through on the OPUS Boards ideas and projects.

Provide referral, advice and direction to all part-time students in contact with OPUS. Identify new problems/needs/issues that may affect students at the University of Windsor, and also initiate new activities as required.

Coordinate preparation of orientation and award presentation materials.

Arrange travel itineraries for the Board of Directors.

Maintain current and previous documentation, such as the constitution, policies, by-law and other information required by the Executive and Board.

Assist in the administration of the Health Plan and help prepare the expense reports for the Health and Dental Plan.

Prepare agendas, notices, minutes and resolutions for organization meetings.

Administer and coordinate all aspects of the Health and Dental Plan.

Prepare expense reports for the Health and Dental Plan.

Responsible for assisting the Executive Director in directing and coordinating the activities and whatever manner is required.

With Board or Executive Director's approval the Health Plan Administrator will represent OPUS on committee and in meetings.

Arrange travel itineraries for the Board of Directors.

Assist the Executive Director for the preparation of orientation and award presentation materials.

Prepare agendas, notices, minutes and resolutions for organization meetings.
