My research interests include the processes that control the transport and deposition of elements in the crust and the formation of mineral deposits, and, in general, the nature and characterization of fluid and melt inclusions. I use a variety of approaches to address questions on these topics, including field studies, mineral chemistry, fluid inclusion microthermometry, laser-ablation ICP-MS analyses, stable and radiogenic isotopes, and Raman spectroscopy.
