Dr. Brian MacPherson holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from McGill University and a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from University of Windsor. He taught for 17 years as a Visiting Assistant Professor and Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He also taught as a Sessional Instructor at the University of Windsor before being promoted to Sessional Lecturer at the University of Windsor where he teaches in Philosophy, Inter-disciplinary Arts & Science and Integrative Biology.
Dr. MacPherson has published extensively in both Philosophy and Biology journals, including Notre Dame Journal of Formal Logic, Journal of Philosophical Research, Metaphilosophy, Ecological Modeling, Ecological Informatics and the Journal of Theoretical Biology.
