Political Science at UWindsor

Kiran Phull

I started my MA in Political Science at Windsor in 2010 and graduated in 2012. I completed my PhD in International Relations at the LSE in 2019, after which I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the LSE. My doctoral research centred on public opinion, knowledge production and the construction of the Arab world, and I have conducted research in the Middle East, Europe and the US. I also conduct research and outreach around pedagogical bias in higher education teaching and learning, and have published findings on the extent of gender bias in university syllabi. This academic year, I am joining the Department of War Studies at King's College London as a (fixed-term) Lecturer in International Relations, with a focus on global politics and technology.
