This is one in a series of testimonials from Political Science graduates and how they've put their degrees to work.
"Getting my degree at Windsor has challenged me in new ways and it's sure helped make my life a lot more interesting", says Blake Roberts (MA 2005). Roberts entered the MA program after 13 years in journalism. He now teaches at the University of Windsor and at Wayne State University in Detroit where he is working on a Ph.D. Since earning his degree Roberts has received two grants which enabled him to engage in field research in the Philippines and the Middle East, "Not only was my MA excellent preparation for my Ph.D. work, it's also given me the chance to witness first-hand some of the issues and conflicts that define our times".
