Professor Lanoszka's research focuses on international relations and global political economy. Her specific interests include international trade and investment, policies of the WTO and the World Bank, changing North-South relations, and new approaches to economic development. For over two years she worked in the Accessions Division of the WTO. Most recently, as a consultant for the World Bank she completed a report titled Handbook: Negotiations on Liberalization of Trade in Services Logistics and Health. She is now finalizing a project titled “Restoring Functionality of the WTO: Polycentric Problems and a New Theory of International Trade.” She also is continuing work on her second book, Reconciling Trade and Development: Historical Legacies, Social Dilemmas, and State Strategies, which examines a range of theoretical and policy aspects in the context of socio-economic development of societies.
