Jeff Berryman currently holds the position of Acting Provost and Vice President, Academic. He is a Distinguished University Professor and Professor of Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Windsor, Canada, where he has been for the past 30 years. In addition, he is an honourary Professor of Law, Faculty of Law, University of Auckland, N.Z. A specialist in remedies, he has also taught contract law and restitution.
Planning and Administration
Anna Maria Kirby was appointed Acting Vice-President, Planning and Administration on July 1, 2018. After graduating from the University of Windsor with an Honours Business Administration degree, Anna obtained her Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 1989 while at Ernst & Young. Anna held leadership roles in private corporations in Windsor/Essex until joining the University of Windsor in 1997 as Chief Accountant in Financial Services.
Rita LaCivita joined the University in 1998 as an Employee Relations Manager and was thereafter promoted to the role of Executive Director and later to Chief Human Resources Officer, reporting to the President. On July 1, 2015 in recognition of her leadership and strategic expertise in human resources, she was assigned the institutional responsibilities of Academic Labour Relations and promoted to the position of Vice-President, Human Resources.
Michael Siu has had extensive experience on administration in academia. He is currently Vice-President, Research and Innovation at the University of Windsor (December 2012–present). Prior to his current post, Michael served at York University as Associate Vice-President Research, Science & Technology (2005–2011); Founding Director, Centre for Research in Mass Spectrometry (2000–2012); and Member, Board of Governors, 2004–2006).
