In order to allow sufficient time for processing, please ensure that your completed application is received by the dates listed below.

Winter 2019 Application Deadline: July 1, 2018

Fall 2019 Application Deadline: March 1, 2019

Your completed application will include all required supportive documents as listed below.

These documents are to be submitted through eGAS. Please check to ensure that all uploaded documents are clear and complete in order to avoid delays in processing.

If you apply after the deadline, we may be able to offer a seat to qualified candidates on a very limited basis if there are spaces available. However, due to the popularity of some programs, some classes may reach capacity before the application deadline. Should your program of choice become full, we will proceed with offering qualified candidates a seat in a future intake.

We encourage prospective students to submit their applications early to avoid disappointment. Please ensure that you allow adequate time for application processing and for a study permit to be issued in your country.

You have two methods for applying:

Option # 1 - Apply Directly (online)

Please note that the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre will be performing system maintenance between March 23, 2018 at 4:30 pm EST and March 25, 2018 at 11:59 pm EST.  During this time, the OUAC application system will not be available and so no new applications may be submitted. However, those who have already completed Step 1 will still be able to access their applications on eGAS, our electronic Graduate Application System, in order to submit their required documents and complete their applications. We apologize for any inconvenience and encourage you to check back on March 26 to submit your application.

Step 2: Follow the instructions on the e-mail that will be sent to you within 48 hours.

  • Do not mail any documents - unless requested by the department to which you are applying

Supportive Documents include:

  • Transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
  • Statement of Interest (1–2 pages)
  • Resume / Curriculum Vitae
  • English Language Proficiency IELTS or TOEFL Required for students who have not completed an undergraduate program in an English speaking country on our approved list of Exempt Countries.
  • Although this program does not require references you will be asked to insert the names of two referees as part of the OUAC application. You may insert any information in the referees section in place of actual referees information. No emails will be sent requesting a reference. You must insert information for referees otherwise you will not be able to complete the OUAC application and proceed to paying the application fee.

All materials, including transcripts submitted to the University of Windsor become the property of the University and will not be returned.
